This is my first pen and I absolutely love it. I did quite a bit of research before determining which plan I wanted to order for my problem areas and concerns. This seems like the best option for me. I've been using it for just a few months now, and I love the results that I've gotten. I've honestly become a bit of a skin care junkie and don't see myself stopping anytime soon I am loving the results. I am able to get from the comfort of my own home.

Dr Pen is the brand used by many schools when teaching microneedling. I am pleased with this nodel. It has a comfortable stainless housing with and feels comfortable in the hand. It has the options to use corded with enclosed 6.5' cord or is rechargeable with the C style USB plug. It comes with a latching storage case. The fine needles are designed for comfort. It comes with 10 needle cartidges that are locking and have a valve to prevent back flow. It has six speeds and the smooth motor will go up to 20,000 RPM. I appreciate the low battery indicator. The depth dial adjusts smoothly even with gloves under a plastic sleeve.Collagen induction therapy is controlled wounding of the skin to stimulate collagen production, reduce fine lines and wrinkles, and reduce scars. Care must be taken when performing this procedure. Done improperly, it can lead to scarring, injury, or infection. Please pay attention to the enclosed pamphlet for proper needles and depth. Watch videos on proper protocol from reputable sources by professionals.

Love it! So far I have used it three times and it's worked great. I used the dr pen authentication process to make sure it was genuine since there are counterfeits out there and it's a real. Got a great price for a great pen so it's def 5 stars!

Dr Pen Ultima M8S Microneedling Pen - Professional Derma Beauty Pen for Face and Body - Microneedle Pen with 10 Replacement Cartridges Skin Care Tool. I have used a derma roller (needle roller) 0.25mm and while I enjoyed it, it was not deep enough to cause visible changes. This Dr Pen microneedling pen is the answer. It can go from 0.25 to 2.5 mm allowing for you to have some real results. That being said, you don't want to jump right to the deeper depths for your whole face because you can cause damage that way. The instruction manual gives some recommended depths for each part of your face. I started off with 0.25 but I quickly moved on to 0.5 and then 1.0. I think for my needs 1.0 is my max for my face/neck. I didn't have any pin prick/bleeding areas but it made my face significantly red after the session. I was able to hydrate and calm my skin down with a hyaluronic serum. The next morning my face had lost any residual redness and looked refreshed with my deep 11 wrinkles between my eyebrows a tad less deep. The manual didn't really offer much for instructions/guidelines on how often. So per my research, if you are using the nano attachment you can use that weekly. If you are using the needles you should probably wait 2-3 weeks between sessions. You also want to be careful with what serums/facial products you use after the microneedling taking care to avoid the Vitamin C and retinol serums for a few days after a session to give your skin a chance to recover. And make sure to protect your skin from the sun after a needling session because your skin will be more sensitive afterwards. The needle attachments are 1 time use items, so you will need to buy replacement needle cartridges but if you are only using it every 2-3 weeks it will take awhile before you need more cartridges.

It's easy to operate and really helps the skin after a while of use at home.

I did some research before choosing the Dr Pen Ultima M8s, comparing this newest model to older versions as well as competitors. I like that this pen is marketed for home use and is easy to set up as well as use. Some of the differences from the older M8 include a type C fast charger rather than AC power cable, a battery display, up to 16,000RPM, and backflow prevention cartridges.

Don’t underestimate this little machine, it’s small but powerful. Also the needles are very fine but should follow the instructions for the depth of the needle for different area on your face or body. I use this on my stomach for postpartum stretched skin. I also used it with collagen serum.

Impressed with the micro needling device. The speed levels have a gradual transition between them and make it easy to customize. The screen simplifies speed control. I was sure to read up on proper use of this and how to keep things sanitary. I recommend making sure you watch videos and practice before taking the plunge.Overall this is much easier and less invasive than I anticipated. I’m looking forward to see the results.
