I’ve had micro needling done in the spa before and when I saw this kit, I couldn’t wait to give it a try. I was nervous at first for doing it myself but I did apply over-the-counter lidocaine cream first. This is a safe and sanitary kit that uses fresh needles each time.

Dr. Pen M8S Microneedling Pen

This can be intimidating at first. I recommend doing some research on proper microneedling technique and aftercare before using this at home. It's definitely more cost effective than having it done in a clinic. It's not terribly painful, but my skin was red after use. After skincare and a good night's sleep, the redness had faded considerably.

There are different levels and depths to the needling, which allow you and your skin to start off slow to get used to using the product, and you can work your way up from there. The tool is easy to handle, seems to be quality-made, and makes microneedling more affordable and comfortable to do at home. I will update this review with my results after using this a few more times.

Awesome

This an awesome way to do micro-needling without spending hundreds at a clinic. You will be red for two days but the comfort is pretty good. I'm very sensitive and didn't mind it too much.
