Dr. Pen Ultima M8 Professional Microneedling Dermapen, USB Rechargeable, 8x Cartridges Replacement Pack, 2pcs per 16pin, 24pin, 36pin, 42pin
This product is amazing! I have been using this pen for a couple of weeks now and my face has been transformed. I had a very deep wrinkle in one of my marionette lines that spread down my chin from sleeping on that side of my face for years. It is almost completely gone. This pen is versatile and one of the best facial devices I’ve ever used! 100% recommended,

The pen has a slight learning curve especially it is your first time use. It does take a couple months to see effect and you need to use it at lease 3 times a week. I have been using it for almost 4 months and so far no issue with charging. I love the feeling fresh of the skin the morning after you use the machine.

I depend on my face and neck quite regularly. I've gotten quite used to the feeling because it's a bit much at times but a little goes a long way. The battery lasts and if it's perfect in your hand I encourage everyone we get one of these and work on your face and neck it's fantastic all your friends will notice and want you to work on them too this is definitely the tool to have.

I've always been wary of using derma rollers, since rolling needles seems less precise and more prone to create tears in the skin. The DR. Pen M8 Pen solves those concerns since it offers more precise control. One charge lasts me about 2-4 hours depending on the speed I use. There are six speeds total, and two different needle cartridges (3 of each), and you can adjust how shallow or deep you want the needles to penetrate by adjusting the dial.
I'd recommend starting slow and shallow first, which will help with product absorption so have a vitamin c, hyaluronic acid, or growth factor serum ready. As you move up intensity and needle depth, you'll gradually see more collagen buildup, which helps with diminishing wrinkles and acne scars.

I first started my micro-needling journey with just a plain roller and a derma stamp. This little gadget is so much better though! It’s extremely easy to use and does the job better and faster than the old way. And considering that a professional session costs hundreds of dollars, this is well worth the investment!

I love that I don't have to go to a medi spa and shell out a bunch of money for microneedling treatments with this pen set. It honestly pays for itself if you plan on getting at least 2 treatments at the medi spa. For that, this pen has great value.
I primarily got this to work on some lower belly stretch marks from pregnancy, but have also now tried it on my face to fade some acne scars. A few weeks in doing this once per week to allow my skin to heal, I haven't noticed a difference on my stretch marks yet. However, my acne scars really are starting to look better. It does work, but it takes patience and diligence.

Why A High Pain Threshold?
For one thing, they “recommend using numbing creams that have at least 5% Lidocaine”
The Instruction Guide also says:
“Please avoid taking anti-inflammatory medication, drinking alcohol, or taking fish oil tablets for the three days before your Microneedling treatment, as this will help minimize bleeding.”
Of course, that would also include Coumadin, lecithin, cayenne pepper… anything that thins the blood.
I recommend searching for the us drpen microneedling instruction guide and reading the whole thing before buying one of these Pens…
IS IT REALLY WORTH IT THOUGH?
YES it is.
BeautyHolic says that the cost for each Microneedling session is somewhere between $200 to $800. They also say that the Dr. Pen M8 is the #1 Best one available. And the Dr. Pen A6 is the #3 Best one. This seems unbiased as they do have another brand in Second Place.
BUT, using these Microneedling Pens Is Very Involved and Must Be Done Carefully. Here is The List of Things You Will Need Before Beginning…
YOU WILL NEED:
• Dr. Pen Microneedling device of choice
• A clean towel
• A brand new Microneedling cartridge
• Alcohol solution for sanitizing
• Cotton pads
• Serum, hyaluronic acid is recommended
• Optional - surgical gloves
• Optional - numbing cream
And Here A FEW OF THE MANY INSTRUCTIONS:
Wash your face twice…
Apply half a tube of numbing cream and leave it on about 30 minutes…
Use 60% alcohol mixed with purified water or 0.1 chlorhexidine to wipe off any remaining numbing cream…
Apply the hyaluronic acid serum to the area to lubricate the skin. The serum helps the needles to glide over the skin and prevent the pen from dragging.
AFTER THE MICRONEEDLING
It’s perfectly normal to experience redness, swelling, and pinpoint bleeding after your Microneedling treatment. This is nothing to worry about, as this reaction is normal.
Avoid working out/sweating or applying makeup for 24 hours. If going outside you must apply a high protection sunscreen.
Don’t sweat or apply makeup for 24 hours. If you are going outside, you must apply a high protection sunscreen. If you have to wear makeup, use a makeup product that is specifically designed for sensitive skin or for post-treatment use to avoid irritation.
DO I RECOMMEND ONE OF THESE PENS?
If you need it, Yes. But, it is very important to Follow ALL of the Instructions, and the Instructions are very specific.

I have had professional microneedling at $500/session. I loved the results, but I'm not going every other week or even every month at that price.
A few years ago, I bought a knockoff of this home-use pen. It was painful, scratched my skin, and caused more damage than anything else. After a few tries, I gave up. I have also used many miscroneedling rollers, both steel and titanium needles with mixed results. The needles get dull very quickly and then the whole roller has to be discarded.
Dr. Pen sets the gold standard for microneedling, and the product is well-designed and high quality. The needles are individually packaged to minimize the risk of bacteria and infection. (This was not the case with the knockoff.)
I have found some of these devices a little tricky to master thanks to non-intuitive user interfaces. The Dr Pen, conversely, has a straightforward UI, digital readouts, and easy adjustments. It takes some experimentation to figure out what works best (and what settings to use on different parts of the face/body).
My experience is that it takes about five sessions, each a few weeks apart, to see true results in terms of smoother skin texture, pore minimization, and scar treatment, and I'm not at that point yet, but looking forward to better skin...and saving thousands of dollars.
