This has so many settings. Each different plate type isn't too much difference in hair appearance but the texture makes a big difference. Use tighter waves to naturally add body to hair. Use looser waves for a flatter look.

It is exactly what I need! It includes one straightener and 3 crimpers in different sizes. Super easy to exchange and each pairs work well! Heats up quickly and the pad is wide enough so I could go through my hair quickly. Most important, the crimper really help to improve the volume of hair!

Use the lowest setting if you bleach your hair to avoid excess damage. Plates come loose and sometimes completely come off during styling.

Works very well even on my thin hair. Gets hot, but did not scorch my hair. Plates are very easy to change. Bought a name brand wave roller that doesn't even work half as well as this crimper. Def worth the buy. Will update if anything changes

Getting the plates on is tricky. When they “line up” it causes the styler to be crooked. But it crimps thick hair pretty quickly.

Had an 80s theme party to go to. Me and my friend wanted crimped colonized hair. Boy did this do the trick. Worked on my thick and her thinner hair. Held til washed. No permanent damage noted. Party on.
