First, the hair on the unit is pretty and soft. However, it's not a grab and go wig as advertised. This is my first time purchasing and wearing a wig, but I do know the difference between plucked and not plucked. You'll have to get the wig plucked and the knots bleached if you want it to look natural. If not, you'll look like Chewbacca. I had to get someone to customize it for me. The person is a master wig stylist and she said the knots were thick and the lace wouldn't lift much. Luckily, she plucked it well enough to make it look natural and not wiggy. The lace matched my skin tone decently, but I applied concealer to make it blend a little more. It's a great beginner wig, but be advised that it will need some customization on your behalf. Don't expect to wear it straight out of the package. I'm a perfectionist so it may just be my standards, but my friends agreed with me as well.
