I was really excited to try the LED Face Mask Light Therapy. The product was on a good sale and the face technician at the student salon in town looked at this specific model and said it looked like a good one based on the things you need to look for.It is very easy to set up and easy to use. I think it has the potential to work well if you use it a couple times a week over prolonged time. It is definitely less expensive than going somewhere and paying to do it and is a cost effective way to help your skin look and feel healthy.The primary cons for me are:1. I am very light sensitive and light can trigger migraines for me. I thought I would be fine since you wear goggles while you use the machine, but I was wrong. I used the red and white lights (what the salon recommended for me). I tried the machine about 6 times and got migraines 3 of the times. One was awful. It says in the description that the product is not good for "light allergic" people. I wasn't sure what they meant by allergic, but maybe they mean really light sensitive.2. It makes a loud beep when the time is up and the light turns off. I found the beep to be jolting after lying in the dark relaxing.So, if you do not deal with light sensitivity and migraines, I would recommend the product. It does what it is supposed to do.If you are light sensitive, might need to find a different way altogether to take care of your skin than LED light therapy... (Interestingly, I did read an article that said that the green light can actually help decrease the pain of a migraine, while all the others intensifies it. So who knows, maybe the green light would help you...)
