I'm a practicing acupuncturist and have started exploring other pain management methods. I find the device creates a pleasant warming sensation on sore areas. Heat itself dilates blood vessels and promotes blood flow. I use the device in combination with acupuncture. So far, I've only used it to treat sore areas myself. I can't comment on its use for wrinkles, hair growth, etc. There are some NIH studies on wrinkle reduction at these wavelengths. Very interesting topic. I look forward to using it more often.
