I think it works
"I have several different red light therapy devices at home. One was an incandescent device where you feel a little heat when the bulb is on and this one. This one is different from the incandescent device because it is made entirely of LEDs with 4 lamp tubes of two different wavelengths. This is not a heated lamp so you don't have to worry about burning yourself. It comes with a very sturdy tripod and safety glasses.
There are 2 wavelength levels that you can switch between on the control panel and you can also choose between the numbers of light tubes for each wavelength. For example, one light tube for 850nm and the other three for 660nm or two light tubes for 850nm and the other two for 660nm, and so on and so forth. It will also have a memory of the last light setting mode.
I looked up the wavelengths and their purpose. Generally the 850nm light alone (not quite as visible) is for repairing deeper areas while the 660nm red light alone (more visible) is for improving more superficial areas, such as skin and muscle problems. If you turn both on, you can benefit from both. You can set the time on the control and the wavelength you want.
The 4 arms are really useful because you can bend them however you want for a session. For example, my son, who had ankle and muscle problems, can use two 660nm light tubes and two 850nm light tubes so he can benefit from both at the same time.
I have been trying red light therapy for about a month now and I think it is working because I now enjoy looking at myself in the mirror more."
