In general, nanoneedles are best for increasing product absorption. For targeted applications, syringes with 11–24 needles are best. 36–42 needles are best for larger surfaces and more sensitive skin. 

The Dermapen's high-speed vibration design helps reduce pain. Most people feel only mild stinging or discomfort during the treatment. For those sensitive to pain, your doctor may administer local anesthesia or other pain-relieving methods.
